Distance Learning (overview)
Distance learning provides students with access to education through a network of various technologies. Instructor and student interact at a distance without having to be physically present in the same location. Distance learning provides students greater flexibility in achieving their educational goals through audio, video, and computer technologies.
Working collaboratively, the University of Hawaii Community Colleges offer courses leading to an Associate in Arts degree through cable TV, the Internet, and interactive television. You may choose to earn your degree through a combination of distance delivered and on-campus courses.
