The community colleges of the University of Hawai’i system are publicly supported institutions, which means that tuition and fees are generally lower in comparison to many other colleges and universities. Many students also find they are eligible for federal and state grants, loans, and many other forms of financial aid. There is a financial aid office located on every campus with advisors ready to help you apply for financial aid and scholarships.

UHCC utilizes standard budgets, which are updated annually by the University of Hawai’i’s Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs. The budgets are a reflection of the changes in national cost of living figures and local community costs. The cost of education includes more than the items the student pays to the institution.

Residents pay only $71 per credit.
