Another way that UH Community Colleges work to support our community is by offering students currently attending a college or university the opportunity to take courses at one of the seven community colleges to fulfill their degree requirements at their respective schools.

Many college students who return home for the summer break will take one or two summer classes that will transfer back to their home institutions, whether located in Hawai’i or on the U.S. mainland.

Contact an academic advisor at your home institution and the community college in Hawai’i to ensure that your credits will transfer toward your degree.
